Remember that this guy Is 6'8" has 36" arms and a 39" vertical and 10" hands.

If this isnt a prototype redzone threat then what is?

This kid dominated at the senior bowl too with scintillating catches and sharp routes.

With those traits, that’s a guy that Inthink you grab in fifth round instead of the seventh round. He could very well be a steal down the line. You can’t teach 6’8 with long arms and a 38inch vertical. Plus he has good hands, good speed for a TE, and already runs pretty good routes.

He does look smoother than Arnold because he stretches more like a natural wide receiver like Harold Carmichael who was also 6'8."

Or a Taller Brandon Coleman with better 50/50 skills.

He is a good find. I like the way he high points the ball and catches with his hands. His movements are very fluid. He looks better now than Dan Arnold at this point in time. I believe he could be the steal of the draft and I hope we get him.

If there's one thing we know about CSP, if he sees potential in a late round prospect expected to go in the 7th round, he has no problem taking them as high as the 4th. It doesn't always work out, but I think he views 5th to 7th round picks similarly and will reach into the 4th if he sees a great fit.

He can catch in a crowd, that's a big plus. We've been lacking that 50/50 receiver for a couple years now. He would be the one to bring that part of our offense back. Brees would just have to throw it in his direction and he could go up and get it a la JG.

Parham has a larger catch radius than Jimmy Graham.

Jimmy Graham also had a 38" vertical but Parham is 2" taller and his arms are 1" longer and he makes sharp cuts and attacks 50/50 like Graham does.

The great thing about possibly getting this kid is not solving the TE problem so much as the size mismatch he presents even at WR for scoring TDs.

Back in 2014 when Jimmy tried to argue that he was a wr he demonstrated that he took 67% of his snaps lined up in the slot or out wide.

"Although Graham lined up either in the slot or out wide on 67 percent of his snaps last year, Burbank agreed with the New Orleans Saints and the NFL Management Council, who argued that the tight end position has always involved a combination of splitting out wide to run pass routes and staying in to block -- especially in today's modern passing offenses."

Many if not most of the TDs Graham had as Saint was lined up at wr.

What happened to that WKU UDFA TE we picked up last year? Did he make it on any roster or practice squad?

Deon Yelder. KC signed him to their roster in the middle of the season. He was active week 8-10 for KC, but it doesn't look like he got in the games or if he did he did not register any stats.
