The main thing is it allows us to push more cap into future years. 2021, 2022... for instance with Brees' contract.

RIsky but do you back-load some deals, to acquire one or two more big Free agents like say a Jamie Collins, Schobert, Perriman, Chris Harris Jr.?

It's this game of sacrificing the future for the now.

Any idea on how much cap we currently have? Overthecap says $7.5 plus kiko's $7.85 post-june 1 cut.

I guess it would be close to $20 million with other cuts here and there...We could probably afford a few middle tier ascending players.
