2021 Draft Prospects to Watch This Season (3 Viewers)

I'm more than prepared to be wrong, but I think the Saints are going to kill it in this draft.

Mainly because I'm sure they feel the need to. Maybe not all elite in the league guys, but I wouldn't be shocked if four quality starters are found. Guys of a level with Trey Hendrickson or Sheldon Rankins.

I just read 48 pages of this draft thread.... in one shot.

I don't know how many hours I've been sitting here processing this. Time for a break. But before I go (for a well deserved rest,) here are my impressions.

You all deserve Saints Report awards! Well done. You guys are truly obsessed.

Here's the list of the players and positions that really captured my attention in this thread. These are players that stood out to me as high value, low cost possibilities the most.

As we only have 8 picks, I limited it to 8 positions (those which I feel the Saints are most likely to target). This is my early small board in no particular order.

A couple sleeper linebackers are Joseph Ossai and Buddy Johnson.

I really like Malcolm Koonce too.

I really think that Davidson, Camp, Fehoko, and Harris will all go by the 4th round.

What do you draftnik's think of this mock? I mocked this today using Drafttek's latest board.
  • 28: CB - Greg Newsome II - Northwestern
  • 60: LB - Jamin Davis - Kentucky
  • 98: DT - Bobby Brown III - Texas A&M
  • 105: WR - Nico Collins - Michigan
  • 133: OT - Tommy Doyle - Miami (OH)
  • 218: DE - Elerson Smith - Northern Iowa
  • 229: TE - Zach Davidson - Central Missouri St
  • 255: WR - Jacob Harris - Central Florida
So many players I wanted were gone in the round I wanted them in. #28 is such a late pick.

Would some of you guys post your WR boards? That's the position I'm having the most trouble with. Haven't done enough research.

I keep coming back to Nico Collins in the mid rounds. That's because I want to draft top CB and a top LB, which rules out most of the obvious studs at WR. Looking for mid or late round steals.

I already know a few of the obvious ones - Jacob Harris, Simi Fehoko, Zach Davidson. Would love to see some SR members rankings.

You guys are so obsessed you should get paid.

My overall wr rankings were in my last thread.

I made a wr thread a while back but updated it in my prospects I like thread to keep up with pro days.

Davidson is Also a TE not a wr.

Some guys I like in the middle rounds at wr besides Harris are

Anthony Swartz (fastest man in the draft).

Johnathan Adams Jr

Amari Rodgers

Ihmir Smith-Marsette

Frank Darby

Warren Jackson

Josh Palmer

Cade Johnson
