I also like Zion Johnson
and would take a chance
on Daniel Faalele I fear he carries too much weight.

Pick 98 and 99 compensatory picks
Cade York Kicker LSU our present kickers will lose us games.
Charlie Kolar TE Iowa State we need additional receiver help.

Sorry no defensive help. Maybe we can get some defense depth in free agency.

i think we traded one of our 3rds for Roby.

Burks would be a great pick. He’s a lot like Deebo Samuel and Sean loves versatile players.

If Kinnard falls to the 2nd that would be an amazing pick. I too like Faalele, he would probably have to move to RT and Ram to LT.

As much as I love LSU and York, we should get Lutz back and if not Maher did well.
I do like Kolar if he’s there.

With the rest of our picks I’d like to see another WR, a DT, and a CB.

We have Wil Lutz and Maher did pretty well for us. We don't need to waste a pick on a Kicker I don't think we go through the draft and not draft defense.
I can see us drafting:
1st Rnd.- WR (Hopefully Olave)
2nd Rnd.- TE
3rd Rnd- DL ( We need another DT to keep the big horses in the rotation fresh) Depending on if we can keep Terron Armstead. If not I would look to grab OL here.
That's what I see our needs are in the first three rounds. I would double dip here and get another WR in the 4th or a DL if we need to draft OL in the 3rd. 5th through 7th I would go BPA.

I know it could be either 4th or 3rd, could have been a 5th but Hendrickson passed that threshold, and I think his injury on Saturday closed the window for the possibility of a 3rd.

2. There are about 5 WRs better than Treylon Burks.
3. I'm a LSU fanboy and I wouldn't draft Cade York.

My take: I would implore everyone to wait until the Saints figure out the cap and quarterback situation before I would even think about putting up a mock draft. Those two issues will dictate the draft direction.

It is your opinion that there are 5 better receivers better than Burks... not necessarily how the Saints may see it. How many of those 5 do you think will make it to pick 18? I think Burks is an excellent choice at 18 if the choices were narrowed to two or even three of the top 5 being available. The combine will set the order of value, not your... or even my opinion.

Don’t think we need a DT at all. We had a nice 4 man rotation wit DO, Shy, Ringo n Huggins. We still have Roach, and another DT whose name escapes me, but man, he was huge, like 6’7” n ova 300 lbs, but he got hurt in the last preseason game I think he tore something in his arm. But he was playing well! Will also have Tanoh back who can play DT as well. I think we’re in good shape there!

This isn't life or death and I am far from perfect. It is just for fun. I think you are wrong about Burks considering where we are drafting unless you want to take a chance on Williams. I wouldn't.

If the Saints are thinking about drafting a kicker in the 3rd round, I hope they give us a heads up that it’s a possibility before the draft. If they surprise me with that crap on draft day, I might have a stroke or something.

Okay I'll play. First of all two things we all can agree on is that the Saints value Ohio State players and the Saints have an obvious need at WR. So if you think that the Saints are going to draft Burks over Olave and Wilson your crazy. These are the WRs better than Burks:

1. Garrett "Backshoulders" Wilson - all he does is separate and catch backshoulder passes / Calvin Ridley clone
2. Jameson Williams - hurt, will drop due to injury, but FAAAASSSSSSSTTTTTTTT
3. Chris "The Separator" Olave - best all around player
4. Drake London - Mean SOB / Mike Evans clone
5. Drake Bell - Dude plays just like NYG's Odell Beckham Jr.

Dream scenario for me: 1st. Jordan Parker 2nd A. Drake Bell 2nd B. Trey McBride / sign WR Mike "Treylon Burks" Williams / insert Bridgewater, Winston, Pornstar Jimmy = Championship
