Brandon Coleman -- two costly penalties and inability to make vital plays when needed. I wish those routes were run to the more sure-handed Michael Thomas.

Coby Fleener -- we paid him handsomely so I guess it made sense to force the ball to him. Not. Too many times it put us in 2nd and 3rd and long.

Travares Cadet -- second week in row he drops easy passes that could have moved the chains and given our team a chance to score a touchdown at the end.

Cooks, Snead and Thomas should receive an ever larger share of the passes because they have shown themselves to be productive.

Ya, as of now, Fleener is looking like a buster.

Unfortunately, we have virtually nothing at TE. Fleener is soft, Hill is virtually non-existent, and Manhertz is way too experienced to even give an opinion.

We really need Thomas worked into the offense more. Cooks and Snead are players, but with their size, they can both be neutralized. We need a reliable big target. Fleener was supposed to be that guy, but he isn't living up to it.

I'll give you the 2 penalties on Coleman but the 2 incomplete passes were not all his fault. The first one, the CB clearly held Coleman's left arm down not allowing him to use it on the catch and should have been a PI. He made a great one handed grab and caught the ball but could not secure it through the role. The second was a catch very few players can make having to contort their bodies and make a fingertip grab while completely off balance.

If Coleman made those 2 catches every one would be saying how great he is and comparing him to OBJ. Not too many #1 WR's can make those catches, much less a #4 WR!

I thought Fleener was doing great by the end of the game and he is a phenomenal blocker. Let him grow as with Coleman.

Cadet should of been cut. A game like this... WE NEEDED CJ SPILLER's Elite speed.

How about our first rounders from last year?

Peat got blown up to allow the FG block and TD return and Anthony couldn't get on the field.

Awful.

Fleener is a disappointment. He's dropping everything. Some may be tough catches but make a tough catch every now and then.

Cadet is what is what is always has been, doesn't run the screen game well, shows some promise as a receiver out of the backfield, but let's you down when he is needed. And why is he on kick return?

Will Lutz - I will never understand this move.

The Greenbrier - We have now started every season 0-2 since having training camp at the Greenbrier.

Two undrafted free agents, and a guy who was Allowed to walk by the team that drafted him and catlled him soft.

These guys are not playmakers. This is Just our front office trying to make diamonds out of a few lumps of coal, as they have been able to do in years past with a few others in this system. We have to remember that just because we are paying superstar caliber money (fleener) or giving quality starter minutes/plays (Coleman and cadet) to these guys, it still won't change their abilities. We have a track record of over paying and over playing guys who wouldn't even make another nfl roster, or simply don't turn out to be worth the check. (#1 in dead money, and several of the recent draft picks cut) can't get too upset at the lack of talent, be upset at the ones putting the lack of talent in situations that are above them. :idunno:

Awful.

Grayson is on the PS after being cut and passing through waivers. Swann and now Williams both injured. Marcus Murphy was inactive. Tyler Davison and Peat were the only players from the 2015 draft with a significant number of snaps today.

The player with the most impact from the 2015 off-season was free-agent Willie Snead, who had been on Carolina's PS.

Swann and Williams have NFL ability, and you can't blame the scouting department for injuries.

Anthony has all but disappeared, and Peat is still struggling. Anthony has physical talent, so is it coaching? Off-the field issues?

Lasco will probably get some playing time in Cadet's role. Unfortunately for Cadet, he played himself off the roster today. Coleman is a "coach-killer." It's too early to judge Fleener, but the results so far are not encouraging.

With injuries and poor play, the roster will again be changing before next week against Falcons.

But they play so relaxed and stress free.
