This whole press conference feels like its an audition for a TV job. lolHe’s steadily dropping hints that he wants a tv job.

I saw that too, and am glad.He won’t be coaching anywhere for at least a year
I hope he goes to FOX. It’ll be fun watching the Saints with Payton calling the game. This whole press conference feels like its an audition for a TV job. lol
I think it is best for him to replace Jimmy JohnsonI hope he goes to FOX. It’ll be fun watching the Saints with Payton calling the game.
That's your interpretation, sure.No but this is definitely a permanent goodbye interview. The way he’s rambled on about people in the organisation and players he’s coached, it’s pretty clear he’s got not intention of coming back.
That's your interpretation, sure.
At peace ? It sounded like he was still torn about his decision.Anything is possible but he's talking like a guy who is closing this chapter of his life and is at peace with it.
Well obviously, you’re in denial if you think this is anything else. That's your interpretation, sure.

I suspect if that wasn't an issue, he'd still be coaching. Maybe he wants to get out of the way and see if that crap goes away with it. I hope it does, but knowing Goodell, I doubt it.I'm wondering if Sean's in a place where he knows that by X's and O's, by motivation, discipline, scheme, by all objective measures, he's the best chance for the Saints but after the No-Call, having Saints Opponent being the cleanest team in the league for years in a row and finally the Dolphins game where Covid immediately ceased to exist as soon as the Saints were successfully screwed, the subjective obstacles he brings (Goodell's ongoing vendetta) outweigh the good he can do.
Speak for yourself I'll speak mine how I see it.Well obviously, you’re in denial if you think this is anything else.
