3 Round Mock (2 Viewers)

What about these? Are trade down with dallas if they will and do this?
1. LB-K. Rivers 1. CB-R. Smith
2. DT-K. Balmer 1. LB-A. Highsmith Both in 1st from trade
3. CB-Best CB player 2. DT-K. Balmer
3. S-C. Steltz
Free Agents DT-A. Haynesworth and a WR possible B.Berrian
What you think about that? these are all position we need to fill
THATS A DEFENSE RIGHT THERE...

Why would you draft Steltz in the 3rd round? We already have two safties who get burned to much. Steltz is slow and probably won't project to be anything more then Gleason part II. I used to like him, but after hearing his 40 times, I don't think theres anyway he can play Safety at this level as a starter.

Haynesworth will be resigned. Berrian is nothing more then an overhyped inconsistent reciever. If I'm taking a LB late in the 1st, its Dan Conner, not Highsmith.

Assuming we sign Samuels, or a Top Corner

We Stay put at #10 and draft

1. Keith Rivers (LB) USC
2. Reggie Smith (CB) Oklahoma
3. J Leman (LB) Illinois
4. Jacob Tamme (TE) Kentucky
5. Sam Keller (QB) Nebraska
6. Tom Zibikowski (S) Notre Dame
7. Cory Boyd (RB) South Carolina

Assuming we sign Suggs, Briggs or a Top LB

Trade Down to mid first, gain an extra second and third or fourth

and Draft

1. Aqib Talib (CB) Kansas
2a. Ali Highsmith (LB) LSU
2b. Frank Okam (DT) Texas
3. J Leman (LB) Illinois
4. Jacob Tamme (TE) Kentucky
5. Sam Keller (QB) Nebraska
6. Tom Zibikowski (S) Notre Dame
7. Cory Boyd (RB) South Carolina

That's great and all.... but what are those 3 guys going to do while the opposing QB is sitting in the pocket knitting a sweater while our front 4 attempts hopelessly to apply anything that resembles pressure?

Good point... well hopefully our overweight DEs can drop some ellbees and get around the edges a little quicker... and hopefully we can find some DT help via FA (Starks/Corey Williams) to get a rush up themiddle... and here's a good one... maybe our defensive coordinator will call better games with more pressure...

I would like in FA
1) Feneca
2) Briggs
3) Florence

Trade our 3rd round Pick for R. Williams with an additional 3 next year that would turn into a second if he met performance levels this upcomming season providing we sign him long term.

Then in the Draft
1st Round pick Ellis DT (USC)(trade up with Baltimore giving up our 1st and 4th, and possibly a 6th this year.
2nd Round pick Q. Groves DE (Auburn)
5th Round pick F Valasco C (Georgia)
7th Round pick RB (over 210 runs a sub 4.6)
