Vannett’s injury must be far worse than originally thought. Originally said to be sidelined for 2-4 weeks at the end of August. It’s been 7 weeks and still nothing.

Yeah, I said that the other day and he just got w/ us. I thought it was such a good signing when we got him but right now don't like he's been hurt since he got here.

Thomas has to be moved off the PUP list this week and the team can let him practice for 3 weeks before activating him to the 53.

The following is the list of players on the 2021 NFL Physically-Unable-to-Perform (PUP) list. Players placed on the PUP list may not practice or play for the first six weeks of the season. After the sixth week of the season, the team must do one of the following within the next six weeks:

1. Allow the player to return to practice
2. Place the player on Injured Reserve
3. Release the player

If the player returns to practice, the team has 3 weeks to decide whether to place him on the active roster or place him on the injured reserve list.

Yeah I think more or less with Mike T is that he good but 2 to 3 weeks is ramp up time as he hasn't really practiced since early January

Plus last year I think he rushed back to catch Drew in his final games and re-injured himself. I'd prefer he doesn't repeat that mistake.
