"As the 2008 league year quickly approaches, there's talk of a possible three-way trade.

We're told that the Jets, Lions, and Broncos are talking about a deal that would send Detroit defensive tackle Shaun Rogers to New York, Jets defensive tackle Dewayne Robertson to the Broncos, and Denver cornerback Dominique Foxworth and a second-round pick to the Lions.

The Lions also are looking at a trade for Jets linebacker Jonathan Vilma."

Well, for one...it's good that Vilma might not be involved in this 3-way trade (if it goes down). Maybe the Jets would turn around after this deal, and accept a 3rd round or a other pick from the Saints.

But we still have the Lions as competition, since their still in the hunt for him.

Wow, a 2nd AND a player for Rogers....too rich for my blood. I would do a 5th....MAYBE a 4th, but for a 2nd let's call up GB for Williams.

That's incredibly steep for the Broncos. Foxworth and a 2nd for Robertson? I'm skeptical.

i havent seen anything since monday that says we are interested in vilma anymore after the meeting he had in NO. so from that, i assume we are no longer seriously pursuing his services

he is a great player, but to be honest the fact that he wont start running for one month scares me a great deal. may be someone we would be wise to shy away from
