Its Superbowl Sunday, how could you have it on Saturday? That would be like having Fat Tuesday on Monday or Ash Wednesday on Thursday. What they should do is make the next day a holiday.

Gotta remember ... the Bud Bowl came out before the Super Bowl started using celebrity entertainers at halftime. That long time slot was ripe for the picking for whoever came up with a good gimmick.

This is what Super Bowl XXIII aired for their halftime show. That's what the Bud Bowl was up against.

Thanks for the memories! Hard to believe that was the Super Bowl halftime show. My, how things have changed.

Superbowl Saturday has a ring to it also.....I'm just saying. Then my kids and 99% of the people I know don't have to be up early the next day for school and work.
