Richard Sherman limped off toward the end of the San Francisco 49ers’ 20-17 loss to the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday, adding injury to insult.
However, the cornerback says that won’t stop him from playing in a highly anticipated battle with the New Orleans Saints in Week 14:
Sherman, 31, indicated that the injury is not anything to be worried about. Instead, it was merely wear and tear, which, with age, can make it a bit tougher to get up. Nonetheless, he did appear to be struggling after sustaining the injury.“I’ll be ready,” Sherman said at the podium, via ProFootballTalk. “I appreciate it. I’m an old man. Sometimes it takes a second. I might not practice every day this week, but I’ll be ready to go Sunday.”
