Saints 49ers fans are giving us ZERO chance at winning... (3 Viewers)

Like none. They don't see us as a threat at all. Of course, they have always been an arrogant bunch. The fact that they are even talking about us before they play the Ravens proves they see us as a threat. Personally, I think they might be in for a rude awakening. The teams we have faced lately were division rivals so of course the games were close. It all starts with getting our players as healthy as possible. Thankfully, we didn't suffer any major injury setbacks on the Thursday night game and we have a little extra time to rest up. I really believe our players will rise to the challenge and I expect the fans in the dome to bring their A-game.

Niners D is setup to frustrate immobile QBs. I can see them being cocky about beating the saints, esp after seeing the last three games.... Saints haven't played a fast defense like that the whole season..so taking an L is a distinct possibility.

All the 49ers strengths are the Saints defense strengths. 49ers run game against the #4 run defense and the 49ers DL against TA if back and Nick Easton who nobody on the board has heard his name in 3 weeks why? because he has been playing lights out, better than Peat. What happens when the 9ers DL can't get pressure on the Drew Brees? What happens when they can't run the ball? All those questions will be answered next week.

If the niners were struggling mightily to beat teams with losing records, would we fear them? Cuz that's what we're doing. A win's a win and all but how does a fan of a team who's coming off of destroying an 8-2 team NOT think that they're gonna play well against a team that spread its cheeks, lubed up, and hopped over a barrel for most of the 4th quarter against a 3-8 team?

I'm out here in the Bay. There is a guy who goes by the name of RONBO on his weekly 49er show ... he's been "concerned" about the Saints game for months now. He has a lot of respect for Payton, the offense and Brees.

Believe me, there are a lot of concerned Niner faithful worried about the B&G next week starting with their HC who is very familiar with our team.

I've said this a few times. In big games, Jimmy Garrapollo isn't that dude who will strike fear on a opposing defense.

Exactly right...I am actually pulling for the 49ers to beat the Ravens because the hype train is steaming down the tracks by annotating L. Jackson as the MVP.

This will set the 49ers up to play the Saints in the Dome, which the Saints have a good opportunity of winning if they actually stick to their plan (something they did not do last night in ATL) and the defense is healthy with Lattimore and Alonso.

They need to worry about the Ravens first. Maybe after that game they'll reconsider their chances. I still hope they're low too, much sweeter for the Saints when they lose.

Chris, did you get the 49ers fan vibe from their fan forum, do you have them at work/family, or do you live in the Bay area? Just curious. I had an ex-wife who was a 49er fan - note "ex" wife.
