That was roughing the passer? He pulled up and didn’t hit the QB.

They don’t even pretend sometime. It’s so obvious that they want to keep the game close.

Beathard in for Jimmy G. Just led a TD drive — aided by some penalties.

That wasn’t just aided. The ref that called the roughing the passer penalty should be credited with the TD pass. Player pulled up, made no contact with the QB’s helmet or hit with his helmet, then mildly tapped the QB with his chest instead of pushing him down.

It was textbook what you’d train a player to do to NOT get called for a penalty.
