November 1, 1966- New Orleans was awarded a NFL franchise. Can't believe it's been 50 years.

No kidding. I was 10 when we got the franchise. We had just moved to Lafayette and back then it was a 5 or 6 hour drive (pre-I10)... Dad decided to get Season Tickets figuring it was at least 7 trips back home.. And so it started for me.... So many memories.... I need to write a book lol

THAT'S AMAZING. We take the ABB for granted sometimes. Just curious, how did one get to New Orleans pre-I10?
