When after one weekend of play can have the Saints leading the division nothing is over with yet

Aint over till it's over!

I'm optimistic about the way we played and we should be undefeated at this point but in reality losing these types of games usually has a snowball effect on a team.....
Some teams have that good mojo and win games in all kinds of crazy ways just like some lose it in all kinds of different ways....
We seem to be on the latter path...

If they are irrelevant, and the season is already over, then why do you feel the need to discuss them?

A lot of you are acting like a co-dependent lover who stays in a relationship they don't want to be in. You have no faith for it to improve this year and all you want to do is complain to others about how bad your partner is. This forum is basically degrading itself into a CODA meetup and feeding off each others' misery.

If you choose to stay in a relationship, it's ok to be critical of issues that need to be addressed, but be supportive and show your partner that you believe in them. If you've given up on the relationship, then stop whining about it, move on, and see you next year.

Ok this is just silly. Of course I'll support them and cheer for them to win, I'm just bummed that for the fourth time in five years we've started 0-2. Statistically and from our own history that means a losing season. Why people are upset that I'm upset is beyond me.

Denial.
No one wants to accept that the ship is sinking and the ride will soon come to an end.

I can understand being bummed about being 0-2, count me in.

But to say the season is already over, that's nonsense.

Sure, but that's a lot of if's, with 2 out of 3 ifs out of the Saints' control, and they are only 2 games in.

Fact is we are only in week 3 and the Saints have a "chance" to be leading the division after WEEK 3!!

Now if the Panthers and or the bucs win it still isn't the end for the Saints. We have to win Monday Night. But...... When in one weekend we can have the division lead no one should say the seasons over

Lol @ the Vikings beating Carolina.

Hilarious.

We shouldn't have to rely on other teams to help us out of bad situations. :hihi:

We dont have to rely on other teams this isn't week 17 it's week 3. If both the panthers and bucs wins so be it. But at the end of the day there's a chance for the Saints to be leading the division after one weekend of play. Would be nice to see after so many have jumped ship all ready :hihi::9:

Its not even going to be next year!!, as long as our FO and scouts continue with there talent evaluation scrambling to get players as Brees winds down his career. Its time to start fresh

It's about managing expectations for me. I'm enjoying seeing these young kids grow and improve. I didn't think we were going to the playoffs this year and the losses still sting but I do believe the future is going to be bright. We need to work on finding a replacement for Drew and reload for a run in a year or two. The defensive effort was outstanding on Sunday. Look for continued improvement.

Who knows maybe we go on a great run and surprise some people in the second half. You just never know.

It's like the movie "Groundhog Day" with Bill Murray.
Same mistakes over and over again yet we have different
players but the same HC & GM. It's the elephant in the room everyone continues to ignore.

They know how it ends. They just refuse to accept the reality of it.

It's actually worse, because everyone just got an extension
