The New Orleans Saints watched the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft pass by quietly, but they’re ready to make their first pick once rounds two and three kick off Friday night. But the Saints sit at the end of round two, at No. 62 overall, so they could trade up if one prospect they value more than the rest is available at the right spot.

It won’t be easy to make a trade given their lack of picks in this year’s draft, but other teams don’t seem to be asking for as much in compensation to trade down this year. The Denver Broncos moved down 10 spots in the first round, only getting the Pittsburgh Steelers’ second round pick and next year’s third round selection in return. Washington jumped up 20 spots from their second round pick, with the Indianapolis Colts accepting next year’s second rounder in the big move down.
