Had Detroit gotten the more average 12 drives per game, they wouldve likely scored closer to 37-38 points. Bottom line is this was another horrid, yet common performance by the defense. The offense wouldve had to score almost every drive just to make it a game.

Yes, the offense was poor. But its the defense that has consistently let us down season after season, and will finish near the bottom of the league yet again.

If the offense plays an "average" game, the defense doesn't give up nearly that much. The offense was the problem today. No sustained drives hung the defense out to dry.

The score was also 19-6 going into the 4th quarter and one of those teams had the NFL's top rated offense.

So many redundant posts by folks who refuse to acknowledge when our offense is off/out of sync, when we have 3 turnovers (2 almost of our own that were dropped), lose time of possession by 13 Minutes ...yeah this defense isn't built for this.

Funny part ....going into this season MOST knew this.

But for some reason , somewhere along the way you started to think we were actually REALLY GOOD. we aren't THAT good.

Yet.

We came out and threw 3 straight times to start game. When we were near top in league over last 3 games rushing.

Huh.

Don't forget about two bogus defensive holding calls that kept our D on the field. Both lead to points. I can't wait until full time officiating.

This defense is not great, but 2 scoring drives should not have happened if not for bad calls on Breaux.

The defense let them move the ball at will. It might have been small ball, but it kept the chains moving and beat the he## out of us. THE TRUTH IS WE ARE NOT VERY GOOD AND WHEN THEY FIGURE OUT OUR OFFENSE, WE ARE TOAST.

the same offense that scored 49 on the rams then score only 9 against the freaking lions and yet this is somehow the defenses fault lol ok then
