I like Pierre Thomas... He's a real good kid and a hard worker, that could become a special teams demon for us. :9:

If you want to see all the guys that we are bringing into training camp, go the saints home page, go to the last player ID from the draft (7th round selection) and then just increase the number at the end of the web address and you will see all of our camp bodies.

That's how I found Walter Thomas' bio on our site.

Marvin Mitchell is playerid 450:

Brett Bergstrom is out first UDFA signee:

Peter Dyakowski is the second:

Walter Thomas is the last one that I found.

Yeah. I regularly hit that up. I was hoping by some miracle that someone had actually seen one or two of these guys play in college. Kind of a strange year with so many guys drafted who almost none of us have seen play live.

Look at the amazing stats on this kid LB Ameer Ismail(25 sacks in 2 seasons!!17 of those this last season. Crazy)

</TD><TD vAlign=top>Strengths:
Was extraordinarily productive...Had a huge senior campaign...Is aggressive and active with a great motor...Instinctive and reacts well...Excellent pass rusher with a burst to close...Nice quickness...Some special teams potential...Still has upside.

Weaknesses:
Undersized and needs to add weight...Timed speed is just average...Played with his hand down in college and was mostly a pass rusher...Is raw and still basically learning the position...Struggles mightily in coverage...He has durability concerns.

Notes:
Actually started out as a running back for the Broncos but transferred to Grand Rapids Community College for more playing time before eventually returning...He tore his ACL back in 2004...An interesting sleeper...Productivity is hard to ignore. <HR><TABLE cellSpacing=1 cellPadding=3 width="75%" align=center><TBODY><TR><TD style="BACKGROUND: none transparent scroll repeat 0% 0%" target="_blank" bluegradient.gif? images www.nfldraftcountdown.com http:>http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/images/bluegradient.gif) repeat-y" colSpan=13><CENTER>Career Statistics</CENTER></TD></TR><TR style="FONT-WEIGHT: bold" align=right><TD align=left>Year</TD><TD align=middle>GP</TD><TD align=middle>TKL</TD><TD align=middle>TFL</TD><TD align=middle>SACK</TD><TD align=middle>PBU</TD><TD align=middle>INT</TD></TR><TR align=right><TD align=left>2002</TD><TD align=middle>DNP</TD><TD align=middle>- </TD><TD align=middle>- </TD><TD align=middle>- </TD><TD align=middle>- </TD><TD align=middle>- </TD></TR><TR align=right><TD align=left>2003</TD><TD align=middle>JUCO</TD><TD align=middle>- </TD><TD align=middle>- </TD><TD align=middle>- </TD><TD align=middle>- </TD><TD align=middle>- </TD></TR><TR align=right><TD align=left>2004</TD><TD align=middle>6</TD><TD align=middle>23</TD><TD align=middle>5.0</TD><TD align=middle>1.0</TD><TD align=middle>2</TD><TD align=middle>0</TD></TR><TR align=right><TD align=left>2005</TD><TD align=middle>11</TD><TD align=middle>93</TD><TD align=middle>20.0</TD><TD align=middle>8.0</TD><TD align=middle>1</TD><TD align=middle>0</TD></TR><TR align=right><TD align=left>2006</TD><TD align=middle>13</TD><TD align=middle>90</TD><TD align=middle>25.5</TD><TD align=middle>17.0</TD><TD align=middle>3</TD><TD align=middle>2</TD></TR><TR style="FONT-WEIGHT: bold" align=right><TD align=left>Totals</TD><TD align=middle>30</TD><TD align=middle>206</TD><TD align=middle>50.5</TD><TD align=middle>26.0</TD><TD align=middle>6</TD><TD align=middle>2</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE></TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>
