Jason Garrett mentioned that the lack of turnovers led to the firing of ROB RYAN .... I went through the defensive stats of the cowboys from this past season and they had a total of 7 INTs for the entire season.... Their DB coach was JEROME HENDERSON a former 2nd round pick with the Patriots and I believe this was his first coaching stint ..... The cowboys turnover numbers were much better in 2011 with they had Dave Campo who was a long time DB coach who went onto become the HC of University of Kansas in 2012 ..... So I think our priority right now should be hiring a good DB coach before we look for the Oline coach ....

I agree, and a ball hawking safety like ed reed wouldn't hurt, michael jenkins or brent grimes for a corner spot wouldn't hurt, love to get kruger or spencer too. LOL I know we won't get all of these but some would be nice.

Didn't the cowboys have a lot of injuries in their secondary? They had at least 1 rookie too if not more...I don't follow the cowboys very closely so I don't remember

The Cowboys defense was plagued by injuries all year. Jerry Jones wanted a scapegoat for another abysmal season, and Rob Ryan was his choice.

I'm not a huge fan of the Rob Ryan hire, but I do believe he is a good DC who was victimized by the clowns over in Dallas.

I'll say of all the problems the Cowboys had last season, Rob Ryan was not one of them.

Why not just bring in Eberflus (Rob Ryan prized assistant) to coach up the secondary? He has experience doing so.

What does it matter? We're going to sign Ed Reed. We out of every team in the NFL are going to be the one to get one of the biggest name free agents this year even though we're about 14 million dollars over the salary cap. I know this because everybody on these forums is chanting for it as though they're part of some eldritch summoning ritual that will bend the laws of man and god to make it happen.

Are the Saints going let Ryan bring in his own staff?
He'll likely bring in assistants but I believe most of the position coaches are set

Guys like vitt are tied to this team as much as Payton and they probably aren't going anywhere
