We put up 46 points against the #1 defense, that was giving up an average of just 15.25 points per game until now. With the sudden injuries we’re facing on defense, that’s very refreshing.

I still think the defense can and will play better than last week. It’s hard not to, but now is the perfect time for the offense to start clicking. I know there’s a lot of gloom around after the loss, but I think we’re still in good shape. Our depth is better than ever, so we should be okay defensively. Maybe not as suffocating as we were, but hopefully the offense will continue picking up the slack.

I've always thought that game was not a season breaker to lose. It was a measuring stick for me to see how we stack up against another super bowl hopeful. Game basically cake down to 1 play (pick a play) so we're right where we need to be. Make that extra play and we win.
