Yoo-Hoo!
Finally got the wife to use Linux!. Somehow (insert sarcasm), her system (XP) always started messing up, and she always blamed it on the computer, thus, me, since I built it. Funny, mine never did the things her's did. Only this time I slicked it, and installed Ubuntu Edgy, showed her what to do to get her started, and I haven't heard any complaints yet (only been 1 hour, but that's a start). All she does is surfs the net and checks her email anyway. And use Office, which I showed her Open Office. She seemed ok with it, and even said, "It'll just take some getting used to."
Next thing you know, I'll even have her cheering for the Saints instead of the 'Skins.
Of course, last weekend didn't help with that.
