New Orleans Saints fullback Heath Evans writes an occasional diary for The Times-Picayune:
By Jennifer Armstrong / Times-Picayune
Back in town after the Eagles win, I decided to cut the grass Monday afternoon instead of waiting until Tuesday. The team flight got in early enough Sunday, so I did an early Monday workout and then film work and stretching with the team. The Eagles were a tough opponent, and everyone is beat up and sore, so the stretching felt good!
On the way home, I spent some time on the phone with Glenn and Sue Martin, who run our Heath Evans Foundation, which provides free counseling to victims of childhood sexual abuse. Tuesday was my day with my girls. I had a daddy date with Ava and Naomi, while Beth got some alone time. After sleeping in, we watched some kids TV in the morning, and then headed out to Elmwood Fitness for some swimming after lunch.
