The Saints were only penalized three times for a total of thirteen yards. If we keep that up, we'll be a serious contender even if the offense falls off a little.

Another stat overlooked was Morehead's punting average: 52 yards!!

AND he had a long of 60 yds!
 
all good points....and it always equates to wins...Morstead is the real deal, what a draft choice. The lack of penalties is a sign of a well coached team and something they have been working on since training camp. Porters had no effect on the game.
 
...and one of them was an intentional delay of game. That's very impressive.

Probably should count it given that Stinchcomb got that break on the checkdown to Reggie -- still a very disciplined effort overall by our guys.
 
We are tied 1st in INTs with 6 tied with Green Bay and Philly.

We are 1st in passes defensed with 21. I believe we only had 92 passes defensed all last season.
 
Good observation. That is huge for us. I hope we keep it up.
