That is the right answer...pretty much the only answer...Kirkwood is at year 6(?) and still hasn't broke out...sorry chief time to move on.

I'm glad Kirkwood made the roster, I've always been a fan, I think he, like so many promising young players had some untimely injuries that have derailed what might have been a decent career.....BUT, I don't think it matters who plays WR in that slot right now, we have much bigger issues....

Newsflash: NFL players don't need to 'break out' in order to be effective role players in the depth chart. If they know their assignments, add value on special teams and turn up ready to play on game days, that's the right answer.

It may not set your pants on fire, it may not tickle your saliva glands, it may not win you any points in your fantasy league, but it's what counts.

Potential is only ultimately worth something when it's realised. Until then, the rookie can watch, learn and practice until he's ready.
