I'm surprised it took until year 4 of this era for our staff to finally be poached. It was inevitable.

And amazingly enough, we will have 0 Super Bowls to show for it. Bummer.

They always seem to forget (or fail to mention) how the Saints were blatantly cheated, in front of the entire world, by the NFL officials and Roger Goodell took no action to fix what literally EVERYONE knows happened.

I have all the faith in the world in who Payton and Loomis get to fill the void. No one is irreplaceable with either at the helm. If it’s Richard then great. But I am pretty sure if he hired the Swedish chef from Sesame Street then I wouldn’t question it. He has earned that.

It’s both as long as they promoted to head coach.

In November, the NFL approved a new rulethat compensates a franchise for developing a minority head coach. If a team has a minority coach on its staff leave to become a head coach or an executive in its front office leave to become a general manager, it will receive a third-round compensatory draft pick the next two years.
