I for one am glad Volek is starting because the guy can put up huge numbers when he is hot. He is a streaky QB but I really think the Chargers need a red hot QB to beat the Pats and Rivers isn't that guy. Volek probrably wont be that guy but at least he has the possibility where Rivers is more of a game manager.
