my dog Buck could’ve called better plays than what Payton called...I was screaming at the TV to run the ball 3 times, make them use their timeouts and kick to them with a 3 point lead and no timeouts with 50 seconds left...but nooooooooo, we had to “stay aggressive”....coaches constantly call shirt calls in the name of “staying aggressive”...there never should have been a missed PI because the ball should have never been in the air...

So the Rams got the ball back with 1:42 to go with a timeout...but hey, at least we “stayed aggressive”...

It was a poor sequence. Mistakes.

Should have been no pass. Trust your defense and put more pressure on Goff.

Payton indicated post-game that a running play was called initially but that Drew audibled out of it when he saw the Rams in Zero run-blitz.

The aggressive streak that gives us Ambush and risky fake punts also drives Payton to try and exploit mismatches and catch a defense offguard, when clock management and ball control make all the sense in the world. It's always been that way and after this many years, it's a part of his style that isn't going to change. It's the bad that comes with the good.

It was a mismanaged series. The Rams should have never had over a minute or a timeout left. It’s similar to the Falcons Super Bowl. Run the ball, kick the field goal, and you likely win. Instead, both teams passed and got bad outcomes. They overthought the situation.

The Rams got the FG opportunity with safe throws over the middle. Takeaway their timeout and another 50 seconds and they don’t have the time to do that.

Everyone complaining about the aggressive play calls would be gripping if we ran it 3 straight times with no yards gained. The aggressive mentality is what won SB 44. I’ll take it.

Regardless of what should have been called, it all should have resulted in 1st and goal from the 4 yard line. That would have won the game. WE did enough to win fairly, but the refs put a stop to it.

Belicheck is aggressive too but they have plays that move the chains. And I don't think he makes mistakes like Payton did.

But then we made a third down call that the defender admitted he was beat on and hit TLL early to save a TD. We made a good call that was erased by arguably the worst no call in NFL post season history.
