The Saints on Saturday had a welcome sight on the practice field.
After missing four straight team practices, running back Latavius Murray and safety Marcus Williams were back to work in full pads and appeared to practice without limitations.
“Obviously, it is good to have guys like that get back out after the rehab,” coach Sean Payton said. “Both of them should be pretty healthy. I am sure there's a lot of soreness right now with a number of players.”
While it remains unclear as to the extent of their injuries or the cause, Murray and Williams provided a hint in recent days that they were close to returning to action. ...
