Deke wasn't, he was going to talk to him but Enoch assumed he wanted to get in touch with the zephyr.
I guess it could be read that way, but with the others, Enoch expressed how he wanted to rejoin his friends after decades, and they were like, 'whatever.' I mean, minor nitpick and all, but what a bunch of ingrates.

It seemed to be played for laughs to be honest. When Enoch transferred Deke his reaction was surprise like he had some things to say.

Yeah, I get that. But, there was that part in the end when Enoch rebuffs the drunk guy calling him his best friend and he says something about always being alone. What can I say? I felt bad for the dude.

For sure. Really really glad I went through Carter first considering his involvement.
Same, I watched Agent Carter like a months ago and enjoyed it. I didn't think I'd want too much of the time travel, but they're doing it pretty well, so I can't complain. Shaping up to be a nice final season. I'll miss this show when it's done. I hope some of the characters pop up in future Marvel movies/shows.

I kind of liked it in an odd way. His was the story of my life for a long time. I totally can relate to him. Lol.

Am I the only one that got really annoyed at how the team was so dismissive of Enoch?
I could see that w/ the hurried phone connections early on, but at the same time, they couldn't go grab him b/c he's in Hawaii right? Like the Zephyr was going to jump way before they could reach him? Enoch knows that he's doing a vital job and I think he's ok that.

I'm also sure that Enoch really doesn't 'care' and knows he's doing his part, granted, I don't like that he got left behind as well...
He's not just doing his part. He's got a role to play and it's why he was left behind. Not necessarily by the team, but for plot purposes. I'm ok with it tbh.

And yeah, before their next time jump, they even asked about Enoch and Mack said "well, he's 3000 miles away" or something to that effect.

I thought Enoch was in the former speakeasy Koenig ran, hence why Coulson knew the number? It just had a new theme, since it wasn't prohibition anymore. The 3000 miles was because the team was on the west coast(the whole Sunset Boulevard theme). He didn't seem ok with being used, though, but hopefully, things will work out.

You are not, and you can have a “like” on each post for it.

I do think he has a higher purpose tough.

Really it just seems like they’re having fun with the whole thing, so it’s easier to digest. Just IMO though.

You're not alone in picking up on him seeming a bit hurt that his only purpose was to play switchboard operator for the team, but like others have mentioned, I think it was mostly played for laughs. However.

He's going to have an important role being left behind. Hydra has a Chronicon feeding them information now, probably advancing the agency decades ahead of where they should be technologically.

Looks like their stop in the 70's will be fun. And they're going to meet up. I also wonder when we're going to catch up with Fitz again.

Another great episode. Loved the opening credits and the old school comics Shield unis.

But...

I still feel like they treat Enoch like shirt and I don't like it. I'm not sure I'd blame him if he turned on the team before the season is over.

Thoughts on last night's episode?

I thought it was very good.

Enoch and Deke finally addressed Torgo's concern that they've been treating Enoch so poorly. Poor Mack, that must've been difficult. I'm here for Daisy/Sousa if they go that direction. Every Patrick Warburton line was gold. Coulson will be back. Next week looks fun with Mack and Deke stuck in the 80's while everyone else jumped. This season is really delivering so far.

I've also seen people on Twitter hint at both Grant Ward and Cal/Mr. Hyde. With the team jumping forward in time, they could definitely revisit these characters. They could possibly save Ward from Malick getting his hooks into him. Maybe even get to see Tripp again.

That would be totally fun. And a great way to end the final season. It's been pretty good. Hate that it's ending. Hope there's something else in the pipeline though.

I would be for all of this.
