So long sad times!,
Go 'long bad times!,
We are rid of you at last
Howdy, gay times!
Cloudy gray times,
You are now a thing
Of the past, cause:

Happy days are here again
The skies above are clear again
Let us sing a song of cheer again
Happy days are here again
Altogether shout it now!
There's no one who can doubt it now
So let's tell the world about it now
Happy days are here again
Your cares and troubles are gone;
There'll be no more from now on
Happy days are here again
The skies above are clear again
Let us sing a song of cheer again
Happy days are here again

Yankee Democrat song. Pffft.

If I gotta listen to the the Dem beat, let it be a SOUTHERN beat.

Last two verses. Verses you seldom hear:

CHORUS
You are my sunshine,
My only sunshine.
You make me happy
When skies are grey.
You'll never know, dear,
How much I love you.
Please don't take my sunshine away.

VERSE
Louisiana my Louisiana
the place where I was borne.
White fields of cotton
-- green fields clover,
the best fishing
and long tall corn;

CHORUS
You are my sunshine,
My only sunshine.
You make me happy
When skies are grey.
You'll never know, dear,
How much I love you.
Please don't take my sunshine away.

VERSE
Crawfish gumbo and jambalaya
the biggest shrimp and sugar cane,
the finest oysters
and sweet strawberries
from Toledo Bend to New Orleans;

CHORUS
You are my sunshine,
My only sunshine.
You make me happy
When skies are grey.
You'll never know, dear,
How much I love you.
Please don't take my sunshine away.

Not happy songs. Democratic Party trademark songs from byegone days.

"Happy Days Are Here Again" FDR and the New Deal

"You Are My Sunshine" La. Gov. Jimmy Davis (borrowed by every Dem in the South too)

Good Times, Bad Times
You know I've had my share.

When my woman left home for a brown eyed man
and I still don't seem to care.

Got a wife and kids in Baltimore, Jack,
I went out for a ride and I never went back.

Like a river that dont know where its flowing
I took a wrong turn and I just kept going.

Left a good job in the city
Workin' for the man ev'ry night and day

And I never lost one minute of sleepin'
Worryin' 'bout the way things might have been

Generals gathered in their masses,
just like witches at black masses.
Evil minds that plot destruction,
sorcerers of death's construction.
In the fields the bodies burning,
as the war machine keeps turning.
Death and hatred to mankind,
poisoning their brainwashed minds.
Oh lord, yeah!

Politicians hide themselves away.
They only started the war.
Why should they go out to fight?
They leave that role to the poor, yeah.

Time will tell on their power minds,
making war just for fun.
Treating people just like pawns in chess,
wait till their judgement day comes, yeah.

Now in darkness world stops turning,
ashes where the bodies burning.
No more War Pigs have the power,
Hand of God has struck the hour.
Day of judgement, God is calling,
on their knees the war pigs crawling.
Begging mercies for their sins,
Satan, laughing, spreads his wings.
Oh lord, yeah!

Mother America is brandishing
her weapons
She keeps me safe and warm
by threats and misconceptions
So if you break the chains
you'll have to shake me
and if you break my heart
you'll have to take me

Whoa lady won't you take it easy
Push Me Out Of
Whoa won't you take it easy lady
Push Me Out Of

Whoa won't you take it easy lady
Push Me Out Of

Guitar Solo
So fly me courageous

Hey why all the fretting and worrying? The Democrats have a plan to save us all, remember?!

The Democratic Plan:

1) George W Bush is evil
2) Karl Rove is evil
3) Dennis Hastert is evil
4) Tax cuts only help the rich
5) The war in Iraq is unjust

I think this is brilliant planning. I don't know if I could have hatched a better one, not even while stoned.

We'll be fighting in the streets
With our children at our feet
And the morals that they worship will be gone
And the men who spurred us on
Sit in judgement of all wrong
They decide and the shotgun sings the song

I'll tip my hat to the new constitution
Take a bow for the new revolution
Smile and grin at the change all around
Pick up my guitar and play
Just like yesterday
Then I'll get on my knees and pray
We don't get fooled again

The change, it had to come
We knew it all along
We were liberated from the fold, that's all
And the world looks just the same
And history ain't changed
'Cause the banners, they all flown in the last war

I'll tip my hat to the new constitution
Take a bow for the new revolution
Smile and grin at the change all around
Pick up my guitar and play
Just like yesterday
Then I'll get on my knees and pray
We don't get fooled again
No, no!

I'll move myself and my family aside
If we happen to be left half alive
I'll get all my papers and smile at the sky
For I know that the hypnotized never lie

Do ya?

Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!

There's nothing in the street
Looks any different to me
And the slogans are replaced, by-the-bye
And the parting on the left
Is now the parting on the right
And the beards have all grown longer overnight

I'll tip my hat to the new constitution
Take a bow for the new revolution
Smile and grin at the change all around
Pick up my guitar and play
Just like yesterday
Then I'll get on my knees and pray
We don't get fooled again
Don't get fooled again
No, no!

Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!

You guys know that hardly anything is going to change right? The gov. will just keep getting bigger (as usual) and we will keep losing freedoms (as ususal). Whats to celebrate? The best think that can come out of this is gridlock. Hopefully a Republican will win the presidency so we can make sure the gridlock happens.

You can dance, you can jive, having the time of your life
See that girl, watch that scene, dig in the dancing queen

Friday night and the lights are low
Looking out for the place to go
Where they play the right music, getting in the swing
You come in to look for a king
Anybody could be that guy
Night is young and the music’s high
With a bit of rock music, everything is fine
You’re in the mood for a dance
And when you get the chance...

You are the dancing queen, young and sweet, only seventeen
Dancing queen, feel the beat from the tambourine
You can dance, you can jive, having the time of your life
See that girl, watch that scene, dig in the dancing queen

You’re a teaser, you turn ’em on
Leave them burning and then you’re gone
Looking out for another, anyone will do
You’re in the mood for a dance
And when you get the chance...

You are the dancing queen, young and sweet, only seventeen
Dancing queen, feel the beat from the tambourine
You can dance, you can jive, having the time of your life
See that girl, watch that scene, dig in the dancing queen

So just how far down do you wanna go?
And we could talk it out over a cup of joe
And you could look deep into my eyes like I was a supermodel.
uh huh
Well it's you and me baby no one else we can trust
We'll say nothing to no one, no how or we bust
And never crack a smile or flinch or cry for nobody.
uh huh

CHORUS
Well give your ID card to the border guard.
Yeah your alias says you're Capt. Jean-Luc Picard
Of the United Federation of Planets
'Cuz he won't speak English anyway
Everybody knows that the world is full of stupid people
So meet me at the mission at midnight, we'll divvy up there.
Oh everybody knows that the world is full of stupid people
Well I got the pistol so I'll keep the pesos.
Yeah and that seems fair.
