Since we have have F1 and Nascar threads, I felt like we need one for IndyCars. Indy 500 organizers are making preparations and the storied race will take place on May 29th.

Thought this was an interesting development.

Wilson fills out 33-car field for Indianapolis 500

Cusick Motorsports and DragonSpeed have hired Stefan Wilson for the Indianapolis 500, virtually assuring race organizers they will fill the traditional 33-car starting grid for the May race.

Indy Car and former F1 driver Romain Grosjean has a YouTube video where he explains the difference between the F1 car and an Indy Car.

Maybe it's just me, but I find Indy Car more exciting than F1 due to the cars being matched very well.

I watch the 500 and am casually aware of what’s going on. But as an avid watcher of three series of Nascar and F1 and all that goes with it, I just don’t have the bandwidth for Indy cars.

Yeah, I watch the 500 most years, but most years I might not watch another race.

Andretti has seemed lost (outside of Herta) since the aeroscreens were installed.

Big Rossi fan, hard to see him essentially nowhere.
