Went over to the Cowboys fan zone this morning and to be surprised they think Payton is on par with Mike MCCarthy as a head coach. Are these guys serious? Alot of the posters say "Saints offense consistently best in the NFL but falls apart during playoff time". Thats fair. Best quote was this one. "Dude, Sean Payton just went 9-8 with a fullback playing quarterback". lmao! If these fans are comparing Payton to McCarthy, they must be smoking some good stuff in the Big D! lol

Good, they won’t get him. Sean’s silence does not mean he wants to go to Dallas. He’ll be in New Orleans or he won’t be coaching. My money is on the former and I think he is getting some of his peak-pettiness back. But Cowboys fans are delusional — both those who think they have a chance to get him and especially those who think he’s no better than McCarthy.

Payton and McCarthy have had pretty similar careers actually. Their winning percentages are very close and both have 1 super bowl win with HOF QBs. We know Payton and love what he brings. Some of it drives us crazy at times, but he’s a creative play designer and play caller. From an outsiders perspective, they may not see much difference. And they’re cowboys fans anyway, they have being wrong built in.

But one of those 2 coaches is a total buffoon.
