In years past when the Saints highlights would be shown on TV, I'd just pay attention and be happy. This year, however, its a different feeling entirely. I get the butterflies as if I am seeing something special. Much like that feeling you'd have when you were young and see your crush walk into the room in high school.

Many people have said they feel something is different this year. I think perhaps I may be starting to get that feeling as well.

Granted I had this feeling at the start of the 07 season but that was more a feeling of optimism and hope based on the previous seasons accomplishments. This is just an incredible feeling. I cannot imagine how it must have felt for the Patriots fans to go 16-0 only to lose in the super bowl. That must have been the most brutal moment of their lives.
