In the "olden' times" it was cheap enough to set it and forget it. But the prices increase (seems like year after year now) prices will keep going up unless/until enough people start dropping service.

The services try to do sneaky things, like offer a discounted annual plan. People who pay month to month tend to pay a higher price.
 
They will keep pushing until they find the edge of their value. Personally I'd love to drop them but when I bring it up my wife doesn't want to hear it haha. I guess she uses more of the services than I do which isn't hard because I don't use any of them.
 
I must have gone ad blind at this point, I don’t know if I have noticed a difference
 
I dropped them the moment they introduced ads and I don't even miss it! I don't miss anything about Amazon, if I need a niche item, I'll find it on Ebay.

Haven’t had them for almost a year - I know there’s a show coming soon and I’ll pick them up again (but can’t even remember the show)
 
We use Amazon Prime a lot, but I hate ads. I refused to pay the surcharge and just stopped watching Prime. Streaming isn't the deal it once was.
