I don't no if anyone else is bothered by the tune selections of the DOME DJ, but with every passing game I become more aggravated with the sub par performance.
First its no secret the beer man likes to hear rap while waiting for the kickoff, this is obvious to anyone who has watched him dance when a Rap song comes on. If ML is waiting for the kick...Rap tunes should be on.
Now some may think this is not a big deal or that I am just griping for the sake of it. But as anyone who attends LSU games on a regular basis can attest too, the proper song at the right moment can make a huge difference. For LSU it is the "pregame" tune that gets the crowd fired up, the players jacked up, and the opponents scared. The LSU band knows this, some come the forth quarter of a close game they play it often.
For the Saints it is the U2/Green Day song. No matter what any body's personal preference to either of the Bands, I am sure I am not the only one who got chills on that fateful Monday night game when they played it. That song should be played at least during the fourth quarter during close games to get the crowd fired up, as well as the players. I know even the Busch league fans I sit next to get excited when they tease us with the very beginning of this song and then cut it off.
Simple things like this can go along way in keeping the crowd into it and give the players a little shot of adrenaline. Just wanted to see if anybody else is bothered by DJ Dome's poor performance.
