As I watch my 16yr old blind, stroke-riddled cat walk like a three sheeted windmill around the basement I'm reminded once again of the sanctity of friendship and little miracles. I came across Kenny on a repo lock call, found her in the washing machine of a gang's hangout on the east-side----just an emaciated kitten soaked to the skin but with enough energy to meow for help. She's been my pillow, my alarm clock, my music and a great friend.
The cruelty of others brought this joyous bundle of hair and other revolting messes into my life and made an animal lover out of me. I'm as lucky as she was when we met and will continue to champion her and the memory of the cruelty she survived.

Thanks for listening

Watching a pet dwindle in their twilight years is a hard thing to do. We're watching our 10 year old st bernard do the same thing. It sounds like you gave that cat a life it wouldn't have possibly known otherwise.
