Has anybody ever compared the Leading Pundits and Prognosticators' pre-draft rankings with the actual performance of players 2-3 years later? It would be great to know who has been effective and should have more credibility.

I watched the youtube version of NBC sports for all of the predraft position analysis.
Chris Simms (Who I really didn't like before I watched it) was a very good watch and I came away thinking....this guy really understands the game and he put in the work for some excellent analysis.
If you have time before the draft today, give him a look.

Him being on it means there’s no way I will watch it. He’s a moron.

If he’s so smart then why did he think Brees was only the 10th best QB in the NFL heading into 2019? He has always badmouthed Brees but he has also had a ton of other ridiculous takes.

Kirk Herbstreit is a breath of fresh air imo. He cares nothing about the combine and everything about the game film. He seems to know every prospect, even from the small schools, on a personal level from the time they were high school recruits to becoming current NFL prospects.

Thanks! This study tells which Mockers accurately mock the results of the Draft, which is a different question, but also useful and interesting. It looks like Walter Football has the most credibility at picking the picks, busts and all.

I was also wondering which "experts" were good at identifying actual future talent (rather than busts).

I don't care about the draft that much, beyond learning who the pick was.
I never got into all the draft hype.
