The anxiety from the New Orleans Saints fan base from the lack of free-agent acquisitions through the first two days of the open signing period can be put to rest as the team locked up former Steelers cornerback Keenan Lewis to a five-year deal Thursday afternoon.
It's a win-win as the Saints landed a cover cornerback they undoubtedly targeted on the free-agent market, while Lewis gets to come home as he grew up in Algiers. One player won't fix everything, though, and the Saints comprehend more moves need to occur during free agency.
