Having college football programs travel (often by air) to neutral location where they will all need to stay in hotels during a pandemic does seem pretty damn foolish - so it's not surprising to see these cancellations. But the question is how far up with this responsible judgment go? Once the dollars get big enough, the "adults" that run these programs can lose their perspective.
I suppose some of the bowls could go forward with inviting teams that are close enough to make it a day trip.
