Could that be Peat's "eureka" moment with the fan base? Let's hope so. First-round picks need to work out in order to win games. Granted, that's a DB, but Peat's progress is showing. I like it!
Peat's played well all year. At this point, he's looking like maybe the best pick from 2015 with Davison being his only current competition considering injuries to Swann, Kikaha, and Williams, and Anthony's inability to crack the lineup in year two. Now that he's settled into playing the left side - whether guard or tackle - he's shown himself worthy of being a 1st round pick. If anything, I think this shows our fanbase's proclivity to latch on to one thing - in this case the negative of Peat showing up out of shape to his first camp - and it taking forever for us to move past it.
