N/S Andy Reid's bad coaching put his Q.B in harm's way. (3 Viewers)

Drew and Tom Brady seem to run a lot of QB sneaks. Is Sean and Belichick stupid too?
No they are not stupid, However Niether one would put thier injured Q.B in a bad situation when team has lead, control of the game and a opportunity to put three points on the board with an excellent F.G kicker.

I don't have an issue with a QB sneak in the correct situation but could Andy not see that Denver's oline can't block and Flacco has always sucked under duress? Just take the 3 points instead. Not worth risking QB sneak based on how the game was playing out.

Teams make adjustments. OL coaches make adjustments. You can’t stop playing in Q2.
The ball takes funny bounces.

Nobody said stop playing just take what is in front of you based on the current game play. Usually when a dline is dominant early, they will be dominant late. I seriously doubt Sean or Bill QB sneak in that situation.

Look... Broncos still haven't made adjustments or scored.

Generally, I don’t think running a QB sneak is dumb on 4th and inches.

However, Running a QB sneak into a stacked box pileup of humanity when your all-world QB is already has been nursing a lower leg injury, was risky and reckless and overall a poor decision.

Reid should have done everything in his power to keep PM out of harms way. Freaky injuries happen but the odds have to increase when you run an already injured player into a scrum of 300 lbs dudes.

Except Reid's QB came into this game very questionable with a pretty bad ankle situation, so putting him in harm's way when you could have avoided it makes no sense.

Denver is terrible, they weren't coming back in this game. Needed to play it ultra safe with Mahomes.

Reid is a slightly better version of Jeff Fisher. He’s better with QBs and he’ll get you to the playoffs but his in game coaching decisions are going to kill the season eventually.

What? No. Andy Reid is one of the best, most creative coaches we've seen in the modern era of the NFL. Sure, he has some weaknesses, but so does every coach. Even the elite ones. Jeff Fisher could constantly be relied on to take superior talent and create an average team because he ran schemes outdated by 20 years. He was absolutely awful. They have almost nothing in common, from scheme to performance to attitude to how history will look at them.
