This makes me think maybe McCain is onto something

It makes me positively giddy that of the 4 remaining frontrunners, 3 of them would be ok. McCain is a good moderate person with experience and wisdom. Obama is young and energetic and seems to appeal to a new generation and attitude. And Hillary is smart, competent and tough as nails. I'm not sure I'd want to arm wrestle her, but I wouldn't be afraid of her running the country.

Anything, but more Bush and republicans.

Bob Schieffer on CBS immediately comes to mind and he writes some scathing commentary with wit and a turn of phrase which I envy.

Candy Crowley. CNN, proves that looks aren't everything. She does her homework and gets the facts. Good all-around reporter who knows all the in's and outs of Washington.

Jim Lehrer, PBS, does straight-forward, hard news style commentary chock full of facts. Though some folks hang a "liberal" tag on him because he's on PBS, I feel he's an honest broker and a damn good anchor and commentator for those who love hard facts.

In the political pundit arena, I'm a bit of a homer because I really like listening to Carville. Unlike the other pundits and our favorite whipping boy, Dan Rather, Carville called the 2004 election correctly hours before any of the networks even dared to do so. Then, he proceeded to dissect what Bush had done right and what Kerry had done wrong. The man is a freaking genius.

Thanks for the response, I'll check them out. I can't stand Carville though. Not a bias thing, he just gets on my nerves the way he talks and his mannerisms.

It seems the world is safe for pizza delivery boys and male shipping heirs — at least for now. Paris Hilton is reportedly stepping out with the ladies.

According to the New York Post’s Page Six, Paris got her French on with “Captivity” cutie Elisha Cuthbert — the pinched-face blondie who also portrayed Jack Bauer’s daughter on “24.”

“They were drinking and dancing, and suddenly they just started kissing," said one spywitness who caught the girlie show at a Meatpacking District hotspot in NYC. Elisha’s rep denied the racy tale, but Page Six says several nightclub patrons confirmed their lengthy lip lock.
