If you don't know about them Drafttek is a great site which feeds all the teams, their needs and draft prospects into a computer which automatically runs a 7 round mock.
All 7 rounds are updated every 3-4 days.

Anyway they run a normal mock and a 'what if?' mock with trade scenarios that visitors have voted on.
This is the latest 'What if?':

They have the Vikings at 17 trading up to us for Derrick Harvey. We swap firsts and get an extra second (pick 47). This would be a great deal for us with 3 picks in the top 20 of the first and second rounds.

At 17 they say we pick Mike Jenkins, but Keith Rivers is there. The second round picks are debatable, WR Early Doucet and OC Mike Pollack. If we got 2 seconds I say send one over to New York for Shockey and go defense with the other, or draft a TE or WR with one and go defense with the other, especially seeing as here we could have Dustin Keller or Martellus Bennett at 47.

How likely is this trade and would you do it?

I love it-the more picks, the better. Especially since the talent in the mid-late first round is supposed to be pretty equivalent.
Likely...who knows?

I LOVE the trade, but not the picks. I would take the 17th pick and an extra 2nd rounder. That 17th pick allows us to still get a good CB and now go for a two of our other three need positions. LB, TE, DT

i like it, i'd love to get another 2nd rounder.
but they dont even have Rivers going in the first round???

Mayo - Laws - Sims - trade up 2 in the 3rd and take Forte

This would be awesome. I'd rather see this with the picks though:
17. Rivers--He'll be there
2nd round
1. pat sims or trevor law
2. the CB from Auburn- Lee

SWEET

I never thought of this but God i would love it. WE could go River or Mayo in the first. ( i dont like Jenkins at all) CB and DT or CB and TE or DT and TE. I love the possibilities

I don't think it's likely, but I would really like moving back to the 17th and picking up the 47th.

If we did a trade down like this and we got Mike Jenkins in the first i'd be pretty happy, he's very talented, theres not much of a gap between him and McKlevin.
#40: Reggie Smith, FS, OU
#47: Trade straight up for Shockey...possibly throw in Bullocks
#78: Erin Henderson, OLB, Maryland

that would be a great draft.

EDIT: I really like Erin Henderson, he might not be there in the 3rd, instead of trading the 2nd to the Giants who believe Shockey is worth a top 10 pick, i'd take Henderson at #47. Then at #78 take best DT or TE available.

problem is the teams that take BPA... such as us don't take the players those people think are our needs.. ?

Something is wrong with their computer, we should pick Rivers not Jenkins. They have Mayo going before Rivers and that is strange.
