Again, the market just was not there for him. At this point the Steelers are lucky to have traded him to the Bills. Then again, they are sending him off to the NFL’s version of Siberia so they are getting the last laugh [for now].

I'm not a Josh Allen hater though. He reminds me of Trubisky. I think both have a chance to succeed in the league. Just comes down to mental processing and accuracy. Obviously that can be said for most QBs, but Allen/Trubisky have both shown some good instincts, as well as an ability to extend the play and/or run for chunks of yardage. They also have the arm strength to "make all the throws". You just never really know how these young guys will develop. Outside of the once in a blue moon Patrick Mahomes. Still can't believe he was a KC/BUF trade away from being a Saint.

Reading the tea leaves, it sounds as though maybe a deal was close, but something happened behind the scenes to nix it possibly (perhaps a refusal to report to the NFL's version of Siberia?).

I can sort of imagine what the meeting informing Brown of the move went like.
