Any chance someone has a Green Bay Hotel room? (1 Viewer)

Re: Radisson - I do have 2 nights booked. I could just sell one night (Sept 8th) but that would have to be above the Radisson rate of $269+tax. Don't want to overcharge you, but I would lose the interest in the Sept 7th room. Radisson usually make you buy 2 nights for the Packers game, but believe I could drop the 7th if only the 8th sells. If I still have it the week of Sept 4th I would consider selling just the 8th. If interested, shoot me an offer through private message. I know there is a waiting list at the hotel of 50 people for rooms. Thanks & good luck!

I know your airfare may already have been made, but staying Wed night would be great. Hotel is a good casino and you can spend Thursday @ Lambeau - which is worth the time/trip. Packers Museum, Curly's restaurant, etc. (Even if you are a Saints fan!).

I found Green Bay rooms were at a premium especially on 9/8 check-in. I ended up getting a room in Appleton at Best Western using Priceline's bidding, paid $60 plus tax total $74...wanted Green Bay room but cost for a 3 star at a 5 star rate wasn't worth it for me.

Using price line bidding is somewhat a risk and I was reluctant to try it at first but if you start below 60% and bid on 4to5 star hotels first you get 3 shots. I log on 3 to 4 different times for most sites to find the best rates but 9/8 GB was the hardest as it took 9 times to get a this room due to the game. Rating for this hotel is at 2.5 to 3 star but reviews seem very good and its just a one night stay.

The rest of my trip I'm at much better rated hotels for around the same price except Chicago, a 4 star cost $110. Also Appleton Wi seems to be an easy shot to Green Bay for me to drive.

Also if you are looking for a tailgate party be sure to check out the tailgate party at Brent Farve's steakhouse located 2 blocks away for $25 (include beer, mixed drinks and food) and they offer parking for $30.... good luck, go to...

Note...Anyone have any tips for looking up legal documents in Wisconsin or Chicago. I'm flying in to Milwaukee on 9/7 staying thru 9/14 and traveling throughout Wisconsin and to Chicago to get documents on my family roots. Mainly went for the Saints game but I figured it was a chance to meet distant unfamiliar family relatives as my Great-Grand Father and Mother immigrated to the USA in the late 1890's from Italy and Bohemia, Aus. they met and married then settled in Iron County in Hurley Wi...

WHO DAT's we should be marching into Lambeau with great numbers... What a ride the Saints have given us since Katrina... Hall of Fame in 06 to Miami in 2010, now GB in 2011 and planning for Indy SB in 2012.

:ezbill: Prices are cheaper at Brent Farve's restaurant than at Brett Favre's, since Brett was a Packer player. Brent was a dairy farmer specializing in cheese.

I just bought 2 rooms from a Packer fan who lives in Chicago. He has rooms reserved at the Microtel Inn and Suites, which is only 2 miles from Lambeau. He has 1 more for sale. It is a 2 queen bed room for September 7 and 8. He charged me 200/night and wants the same for this one too. I'm meeting him to give him my cash at 1pm today. If anyone here can use it, let me know. I will pay him for it, get him to switch the reservation to your name like he did with mine and you can just paypal me for it. I'm trying to get as many Who Dats in my hotel as possible.

Here is a review from July 2011 on the Microtel - may be good enough for hole-in-wall football game - but @ 200 night, consider the Radisson Hotel. LAST CHANCE. . .

Microtel Review from July 2011:

The room was disgusting. First of all it smelled like smoke, even though it's a non-smoking room. Furthermore it was not clean. There was hair on the bathroom floor and even on my towel (gross!!), the sink was completely clogged, the comforter was stained and looked like it had never been washed. Between the traffic noise and itching I did not sleep a wink. For this price I would expect something better than the quality of a roadside motel. Never again.
