Any Daiwa DF100A reel users? (1 Viewer)

I've been looking for a large line capacity, lower cost reel. Been checking out the Daiwa DF100A- seems to be a lot of good reviews out there. Problem is, between the factory spec and user comments, this reel holds anywhere from 300 to 675 yards of 40lb test line. Anybody own one that can give me a no bull capacity?

Website says 240 yards and those are usually conservative estimates. 300 sounds believable

How large of a reel are you looking at? How much line you want? Is there a reason you want such a large capacity?

Also, if you want more line, go with PowerPro. 40lb of PP is equivalent of 10lb mono.

Yeah, the discrepancy is likely going to be braid vs. mono.

Interesting reel though. It does have some nice reviews, and apparently the design has been around for quite some time.
