I am not sure Meyers wants the job. He probably makes much more money doing the TV broadcasts for the Pelicans.

I would think Hoss is the prohibitive favorite. WWL likes name recognition, but doesn't like to pay top dollars for talent, and Hoss will not command the money others would. But I need to quickly add that I think Hoss will do a really good job.

Couldn’t he do both? How many conflicts during the year with a Saints and pelicans game? Maybe 3?
Meyers does all the play by play for the preseason games for fox 8 tv already.
