Detiller was asked this a few days ago on "After Further Review". He did mention Mike Hoss, but also said that the names interested in this job would surprise all of us. Said there are some very very BIG names in the mix.

Said he's been asked about him and Bobby doing it.. He said, "I think NO!!!" Said it would be late 3rd quarter and him and the Cannon would still be talking about a play from before halftime. lol

Bobby: No..No...Mike dat play is sort of like when they took Patton out of the war.. The big one Mike... WWII... See it was a diversion... I know.. I played the game for 13 years but before that I was a history major... Now the question on that play Mike is was it a diversion..Or was it intentional....

Meyer is one of the best in the business, the fact that we (Pelicans) haven’t lost him to a national broadcast (ESPN, ABC, FS1, etc. ) is very Jim Henderson like.

We already lost Sean Kelly, how much more suffering can one city take?

He still does a lot of national broadcasts on NBA tv and other major networks. When Pelicans are done.

I think the only thing keeping him here is his wife...apparently a nola gal.
