N/S Anyone feel sorry for Stefan Diggs? (1 Viewer)

Diggs is legit. One of the best route runners in the league.

I get his frustration but he got 10 targets easy in that game. On that series when he showed him up, it was just a bad series completely.

Overall...they (bills) are slowing turning into the mini version of the 0-4 bills from the 90's..atleast they got to the show and then lost. lol

and no I don't feel sorry for him at all.

Diggs is pretty damn good and draws double coverage nearly every play. I think wide receiver and offensive line are the two area the Bills need to work on the most as groups, assuming the defense returns intact and healthy next year.

Do I feel sorry for him? Well, I feel bad for the team and moreso for Western New York and all my fellow Buffonians and Bills fans. Next year is a sentiment we are all used to up there.

But as a Bills fan I don't enjoy seeing him being unreasonably selfish. It's never a good look.

This season never quite felt like it was going to end with the Bills in the SB. Daboll leaving to coach the Giants. Losing Hyde for the year was a huge loss. Then Miller.

13-3 and a division title is nice but the problems were evident if you watched the game.
Man, finishing 13-3 winning the division and not sealing the deal is something we as Saints fans can definitely empathize with. SMH

Don't feel sorry for him, but I get why he's frustrated. As for the yelling at Josh Allen on the sideline, it looks more like media trying to make a story where there isn't one. Football players get in arguments and fights more often than people realize, not out of hate, but these are hyper competitive people that don't accept losing at anything. Most football fans have probably seen the video of Peyton Manning get into a screaming match with Jeff Saturday and Tarik Glenn. Brady had been caught multiple times on camera screaming at teammates and coaches. Marino used to chew out teammates that weren't playing well. This stuff happens a lot, but we don't hear about it or see it on tv 99% of the time.

Serious? Diggs is a phenomenal receiver and human. Let’s see you work your butt off for a year and have a goal in reach only to have it yanked out from under you. Who are we to judge how you handle that frustration? And from what I have read after he came back he was in the meeting for the entirety.

Think about this he has worked most of his life for a championship. Everything he has done has lead him to this moment and he lost, again. How many opportunities do you think he has left? And now you get to be told how to handle your emotions. Fans are the worst.
While you speak the truth, I will never feel sorry for somebody who gets paid millions to play football.

Does Josh Allen not also fit that description?

It's called being an adult and handling yourself professionally. I'm not among those bashing Diggs. But the alternative doesn't have to be defending him either.

Yes of course Allen does. And his reaction was just fine. Diggs is one of the good ones in my opinion. For instance when he was in Chicago this year he pulled my neighbors kid out of the stands and played catch with him. No photos no publicity just a good human.

Yes, absolutely.
I went to my local Hallmark store and looked for a fitting gift for a young multi-millionaire whom I don't know who not only gets to live a fantastic celebrity lifestyle, but also who destroyed my team's chances of advancing in the post-season. I didn't really find anything, so maybe just a candle or something.

I feel sympathy for anybody who would put that much effort in, got close to their goal, and fell short. It's tough...but that doesn't mean you have to be a jackass about it.

And if your ability to feel sympathy for someone depends on their income, then you got issues

Poor guy!

Just leave your teammates and coaches before they get in the locker room? Is that what they teach in the Marines? Get frustrated leave em . Now granted he did go back after be stooped by a practice team player. He is a good receiver but he is not the best receiver. Sounds like a good offseason debate on this forum.
Why you gotta throw Jar Heads under the proverbial bus? Diggs isn’t a Marine, so why bring it up. . . Oh you were taking a jab at Semper…. attacking the poster, not cool.

No, suck it up! They were favorites and blew it. They didn't get cheated or anything else. They couldn't live up to the hype. F him!

Also, I'll never forget him holding Crawley's arm and Crawley getting called for a PI.
