It turns out that our trip planned months ago to NYC will fall during the big game versus the G-men Oct. 18th. If any Saints fan is in the city, I could use some help defending myself against a bunch of rowdy Giants fans. I'll probably be one of the few dressed in black and gold at the Mickey Mantle sports bar and grill. Hope to see you there. Could get kind of hairy.

The game is in New Orleans. The other poster was just being sarcastic.

Just a wild guess here, but I think OP is going to be watching the game at a BAR in NYC. Wild guess is based on what he said in his post.

What does that have to do with anything? I said I was gonna be at a sports bar in New York. Geez.

Man, I feel your pain. I have a wife that is a DIE HARD Giants fan, and threaten's divorce if they lose! lol
I'm in Lyndhurst and will be down at the local Applebees rooting for our team.
I got her to agree to come down to NO and one of the running backs for the Giants is our friend, he was going to supply the tickets, but flight prices jumped from $200ish to $600.

Hmmmm. I'd tell her not to make idle threats and go get the papers ready.... I suspect Sharper is going to eat Eli's lunch.

That sucks that you can't go. My husband is a die hard Giant fan and we are going. We have some interesting bets going on the outcome of the game. Have fun with it!!!! Both teams are doing well, so that makes it more fun.

But God, I pray the Saints win or he will be unbearable!

Thanks for the link! I think we might be changing our plans.
yeah, that is where my brother is every week for games. He says it is some of the most fun he's ever had. Free jambalya and about a hundred saints fans in their own section of the bar.

Definitely change your plans and head to bar none on E. 13th - there's almost 200 saints fans there every week and the guy in charge usually brings jamalaya, or zapps, or popeyes, etc. Fun place to see the game. Might not be as crowded this time around since the game will be on local TV but that's probably a good thing since you can barely move in there it's so packed with saints fans.

Make sure you head to the back room.... the front room is for vikings fans.
